The Miele S184 Powerhouse vacuum has a a motor-protecting bypass system. Similar to a canister vacuum, dust and debris are vacuumed up directly into the vacuum tube and into the bag. Nothing passes through the motor area or a vacuum fan. The bypass system helps to protect your vacuum motor from damage.
